In the grand royal palace of Dwarka, Lord Krishna was sitting in the garden, slicing fresh juicy sugarcane for his friends. As he cut through a tough stalk, the sharp knife slipped and nicked his finger, and bright red blood began to drip upon his hand.

Years later, when Draupadi faced terrible humiliation in the royal court of Hastinapura and all earthly warriors sat helpless, she lifted her hands in prayer to Krishna. Remembering the strip of silk, Krishna miraculously supplied an endless, shimmering river of colorful cloth that wrapped around her, protecting her dignity before the entire assembly.

वर्षों बाद जब हस्तिनापुर के भरे दरबार में द्रौपदी पर संकट आया और सभी योद्धा लाचार बैठे रहे, तब उन्होंने श्रीकृष्ण को पुकारा। उस प्रेम के धागे को याद करते हुए, श्रीकृष्ण ने चमत्कारिक रूप से अंतहीन साड़ी प्रदान की, जिससे उनकी मर्यादा की रक्षा हुई।
