The Most Powerful Thread in the World

Raksha Bandhan means 'The Bond of Protection'. On this day, sisters tie a beautiful thread called a **Rakhi** on their brothers' wrists. In return, the brother promises to always protect and help his sister.

A long time ago, Lord Krishna was flying a kite and accidentally cut his finger on the sharp string. It started bleeding! Everyone ran to find a bandage, but Draupadi, who was like a sister to him, didn't wait. She immediately tore a piece of her beautiful silk sari and tied it around Krishna's finger to stop the blood.
