The Fearless Superhero

On a bright Sunday morning, ten-year-old Dhruv walked with his elder brother, Kabir, toward the historic town Akhara—the traditional clay wrestling arena. The courtyard smelled of fresh red earth, turmeric, and mustard oil.

रविवार की खिली हुई सुबह में, दस साल का ध्रुव अपने बड़े भाई कबीर के साथ शहर के पुराने अखाड़े में गया। वहां की हवा में लाल मिट्टी, हल्दी और सरसों के तेल की सौंधी खुशबू फैली हुई थी।

Before stepping onto the soft red sand, every wrestler bowed reverently, touched the earth, and folded their hands before a tall saffron flag and a vibrant image of Lord Hanuman carrying the mountain.

मुलायम लाल मिट्टी पर कदम रखने से पहले, हर पहलवान ने झुककर धरती को छुआ और सामने लहराते केसरिया ध्वज व पर्वत उठाए भगवान हनुमान की तस्वीर के आगे हाथ जोड़े।

Dhruv looked up at the image in curiosity. 'Bhaiya, why does every gym, sports hall, and wrestling arena in India revere Lord Hanuman as their hero? Is it only because he had massive muscles?'

ध्रुव ने उत्सुकता से उस तस्वीर को देखा। 'भैया, भारत के हर अखाड़े और व्यायामशाला में केवल हनुमानजी की ही पूजा क्यों होती है? क्या सिर्फ इसलिए कि उनके पास बहुत बड़े डोले-शोले थे?'

The senior coach, Guruji, overheard Dhruv's question and smiled warmly, wiping the red clay from his hands. He knelt beside Dhruv and pointed to the picture.

अखाड़े के बुजुर्ग उस्ताद जी ने ध्रुव की बात सुनी और मुस्कुराते हुए अपने हाथों की मिट्टी झाड़ी। वे ध्रुव के पास आए और तस्वीर की ओर इशारा किया।

'Dhruv, wild animals in the jungle also have giant strength, but they do not know how to use it with kindness,' Guruji explained gently. 'Physical power alone can make a person a bully. Lord Hanuman is revered because he possessed the ultimate trio: Bala (strength of body), Buddhi (sharpness of intellect), and Bhakti (selfless love and humility).'

'ध्रुव, जंगल के जंगली जानवरों के पास भी बहुत ताकत होती है, लेकिन वे उसका उपयोग दया से करना नहीं जानते,' उस्ताद जी ने प्यार से समझाया। 'केवल शारीरिक बल किसी को अहंकारी बना सकता है। हनुमानजी की पूजा इसलिए होती है क्योंकि उनके पास तीन महान गुण हैं: बल (शरीर की शक्ति), बुद्धि (ज्ञान और विवेक), और भक्ति (निस्वार्थ प्रेम और विनम्रता)।'

'Hanuman could lift mountains, yet he always sat humbly at the feet of Lord Rama,' Guruji continued. 'He never used his might to intimidate; he used it only to protect the weak and uphold what is right.'

'हनुमानजी पर्वत उठा सकते थे, फिर भी वे सदा भगवान राम के चरणों में विनम्रता से बैठते थे,' उस्ताद जी ने आगे कहा। 'उन्होंने कभी अपनी ताकत का इस्तेमाल किसी को डराने के लिए नहीं किया; बल्कि कमजोरों की रक्षा और धर्म की स्थापना के लिए किया।'

Dhruv looked at the portrait with deep inspiration. He touched the sacred red sand to his forehead, promising himself to be strong not to frighten others, but to help and protect them.
