The Eye of Wisdom

We all have two eyes to see the beautiful world around us. But Lord Shiva has a mysterious third eye right in the middle of his forehead! Most of the time, this eye remains closed.

हम सभी के पास अपने आस-पास की सुंदर दुनिया को देखने के लिए दो आंखें हैं। लेकिन भगवान शिव के माथे के ठीक बीच में एक रहस्यमयी तीसरी आंख है! ज्यादातर समय यह आंख बंद ही रहती है।

One day, the Gods were worried. An evil spirit of ego and desire was trying to distract Shiva from his meditation. Shiva didn't open his normal eyes. Instead, he opened his third eye!

एक दिन देवता चिंतित हो गए। अहंकार और इच्छा की एक बुरी भावना शिव को उनके ध्यान से भटकाने की कोशिश कर रही थी। शिव ने अपनी सामान्य आँखें नहीं खोलीं। इसके बजाय, उन्होंने अपनी तीसरी आँख खोली!

A flash of brilliant light and fire shot out from the third eye! It didn't destroy the world, but it burned away all the bad thoughts and ego instantly. It showed that true power is not about what we see outside, but what we understand inside.

तीसरी आँख से तेज़ रोशनी और आग की एक चमक निकली! इसने दुनिया को नष्ट नहीं किया, लेकिन इसने सभी बुरे विचारों और अहंकार को तुरंत जला दिया। इसने दिखाया कि सच्ची शक्ति वह नहीं है जो हम बाहर देखते हैं, बल्कि वह है जो हम अंदर समझते हैं।

Shiva's third eye is like a searchlight. It helps him see through lies and find the truth. When we learn something new or understand a difficult lesson, it's like our own 'inner eye' is opening!

शिव की तीसरी आंख सर्चलाइट की तरह है। यह उन्हें झूठ के पार देखने और सच्चाई खोजने में मदद करती है। जब हम कुछ नया सीखते हैं या कोई कठिन सबक समझते हैं, तो यह ऐसा होता है जैसे हमारी अपनी 'आंतरिक आंख' खुल रही हो!
