The Archer Who Shot Down Three Cities
“How did Lord Shiva destroy three flying cities with a single arrow? 🏹🏙️”
A long time ago, there were three very smart and powerful demon brothers. They prayed to Lord Brahma and asked for a special wish: they wanted three flying cities (Tripura) made of gold, silver, and iron!

Feeling unbeatable, the demons started troubling the whole universe from their flying cities. The Gods realized that only Lord Shiva could shoot an arrow that fast and powerful. They all went to Mahadev for help.

To help Shiva, the entire universe became his weapon! The Earth became his chariot, the Sun and Moon became the wheels, Mount Meru became his bow, and Lord Vishnu himself became the magical arrow!

Lord Shiva stood on the chariot and waited patiently. After a thousand years, for just one tiny second, the three flying cities lined up in the sky. *SWOOSH!* Shiva released the glowing arrow!

The arrow pierced through all three cities at once, burning them to ashes. The world was saved! Because he destroyed Tripura, Lord Shiva is also called Tripurari.
तीर ने एक ही बार में तीनों शहरों को भेद दिया, उन्हें जलाकर राख कर दिया। दुनिया बच गई! चूँकि उन्होंने त्रिपुरा को नष्ट कर दिया था, इसलिए भगवान शिव को त्रिपुरारी भी कहा जाता है।
