The Queen of Books and Melodies

At the very dawn of creation, when the stars, rivers, and forests had just been formed by Lord Brahma, an unsettling, heavy silence covered the entire universe. There was neither speech nor song, no wind whistling through the branches, and no bird chirping at sunrise. The cosmos was like an unwritten, silent book.
सृष्टि के आरंभ में जब ब्रह्माजी ने तारों, नदियों और वनों की रचना की, तो पूरे संसार में एक अजीब सा सन्नाटा छाया हुआ था। न कोई बोली थी, न कोई गीत, न पत्तों की सरसराहट थी और न ही चिड़ियों की चहचहाहट। पूरी दुनिया एक कोरी किताब की तरह शांत पड़ी थी।
Lord Brahma felt that without sound, music, and wisdom, creation was lifeless. Entering deep meditation, he prayed for a divine spark of enlightenment.
ब्रह्माजी को लगा कि वाणी, संगीत और ज्ञान के बिना यह सुंदर संसार अधूरा और निर्जीव है। उन्होंने ध्यान लगाकर सृष्टि में ज्ञान का प्रकाश भरने की प्रार्थना की।
From the sacred waters of the cosmic lake, there arose Goddess Saraswati. Dressed in spotless white silk like moonlit snow, she held a sacred palm-leaf scripture in one hand, a crystal rosary in another, and cradled the divine stringed instrument—the Veena.
तभी पावन जल के बीच से देवी सरस्वती प्रकट हुईं। चंद्रमा जैसी उज्ज्वल सफेद साड़ी पहने, उनके एक हाथ में ज्ञान की पुस्तक थी, दूसरे में स्फटिक की माला, और दोनों हाथों में पावन वाद्य यंत्र वीणा शोभा पा रहा था।
Goddess Saraswati gently touched the strings of her Veena. *Ting-ting-twang!* A celestial melody rippled across the cosmos. Instantly, the silent world burst into joyful life—rivers began to murmur in rhythm, gentle winds whistled through the bamboo groves, and birds broke into sweet morning songs.
माता सरस्वती ने अपनी वीणा के तारों को छेड़ा। *झं-झं-झंकार!* एक दिव्य संगीत पूरे ब्रह्मांड में गूंज उठा। नदियां कल-कल करती बहने लगीं, हवा पेड़ों में सरसरा उठी और चिड़ियां मधुर गीत गाने लगीं।
She bestowed the gift of language and intellect upon humanity, teaching people how to speak, write, create art, and share love. Riding her graceful white swan—who can separate pure milk from water—Maa Saraswati reminds every student that wisdom is the greatest beauty of human life.
उन्होंने मनुष्यों को भाषा, बुद्धि और कला का वरदान दिया ताकि वे अपने विचार साझा कर सकें। अपने पावन श्वेत हंस पर सवार होकर मां सरस्वती हर बच्चे को सिखाती हैं कि ज्ञान और सच की परख ही जीवन का सबसे बड़ा सौंदर्य है।
