The Queen of Books and Melodies

A long time ago, when the world was first created, everything was quiet. There were no songs, no words, and no one knew how to think or learn. The world was like a blank page in a notebook.

Lord Brahma, the creator, wanted the world to be full of beauty. So, he created Goddess Saraswati. She appeared wearing a beautiful white sari, holding a book, a crystal mala, and a musical instrument called the **Veena**.
सृष्टिकर्ता भगवान ब्रह्मा चाहते थे कि दुनिया सुंदरता से भरी हो। इसलिए, उन्होंने देवी सरस्वती की रचना की। वे एक सुंदर सफेद साड़ी पहने हुए, एक किताब, एक स्फटिक माला और **वीणा** नामक एक वाद्य यंत्र पकड़े हुए प्रकट हुईं।
As soon as Saraswati touched the strings of her Veena, a magical sound echoed through the universe! The rivers started to hum, the birds started to chirp, and the wind started to whistle. She then gave the gift of language and writing to humans so they could talk and share their thoughts.
जैसे ही सरस्वती ने अपनी वीणा के तारों को छुआ, पूरे ब्रह्मांड में एक जादुई आवाज़ गूँज उठी! नदियाँ गुनगुनाने लगीं, पक्षी चहचहाने लगे और हवा सीटी बजाने लगी। फिर उन्होंने मनुष्यों को भाषा और लेखन का उपहार दिया ताकि वे बात कर सकें और अपने विचार साझा कर सकें।
Because she brought light into the dark and silent world, we call her the Goddess of Knowledge. Every time you open a book or play a song, you are celebrating the gift of Maa Saraswati! She rides a beautiful white swan because a swan can separate water from milk, just like a wise person separates good from bad.
चूँकि उन्होंने अंधेरी और शांत दुनिया में रोशनी लाई, इसलिए हम उन्हें ज्ञान की देवी कहते हैं। हर बार जब आप कोई किताब खोलते हैं या कोई गाना बजाते हैं, तो आप माँ सरस्वती के उपहार का जश्न मना रहे होते हैं! वह एक सुंदर सफेद हंस पर सवार होती हैं क्योंकि एक हंस दूध से पानी को अलग कर सकता है, जैसे एक बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति बुराई से अच्छाई को अलग करता है।
