The Hero Who Defeated the Buffalo King
“Why could a powerful demon be defeated only by a woman? 🐃🛡️”
In ancient times, a formidable demon named Mahishasura wreaked havoc across the heavens and earth. Born of a water buffalo, he was a master shape-shifter, capable of changing into a wild elephant, a snarling lion, and a monstrous buffalo with iron horns.
प्राचीन काल में, महिषासुर नाम के एक महाबली असुर ने स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी पर आतंक फैला रखा था। वह एक मायावी असुर था जो अपनी इच्छा से जंगली हाथी, दहाड़ते शेर या लोहे जैसे सींगों वाले भैंसे का रूप धर सकता था।
Because of a boon that no man, beast, or god could defeat him, Mahishasura chased the devas out of their celestial homes and proclaimed himself emperor of the universe. Desperate for help, the gods assembled before Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Brahma.
इस वरदान के कारण कि कोई भी पुरुष, देवता या पशु उसे नहीं मार सकता, महिषासुर ने सभी देवताओं को स्वर्ग से निकाल दिया। दुखी देवता सहायता के लिए भगवान शिव, विष्णु और ब्रह्माजी के पास पहुंचे।
United in divine purpose, all the gods released their concentrated energy (Tejas). A blinding golden brilliance filled the sky, fusing together to manifest the glorious form of Goddess Durga—the Supreme Mother.
संसार की रक्षा के लिए सभी देवताओं के भीतर से एक दिव्य तेज निकला। वह अद्भुत प्रकाश आपस में मिलकर एक परम शक्ति में बदल गया, जिससे साक्षात मां दुर्गा का प्राकट्य हुआ।
Each deity presented their most potent power: Lord Shiva handed her his gleaming Trident, Lord Vishnu offered his spinning Sudarshana Chakra, Indra gave his thunderbolt Vajra, and King Himavan gifted a courageous golden lion to be her mount.
सभी देवताओं ने उन्हें अपने दिव्य अस्त्र सौंपे: भगवान शिव ने त्रिशूल दिया, श्री विष्णु ने सुदर्शन चक्र दिया, इंद्र ने वज्र दिया और पर्वतराज हिमवान ने सवारी के लिए एक साहसी सिंह भेंट किया।
Riding her roaring lion, Maa Durga charged onto the battlefield. Mahishasura shifted frantically from beast to beast, but Durga countered every illusion effortlessly with her divine weapons, finally subduing the arrogant demon and piercing his heart with her sacred trident.
अपने गर्जते सिंह पर सवार होकर मां दुर्गा रणभूमि में उतरीं। महिषासुर ने रूप बदल-बदल कर युद्ध किया, लेकिन माता ने उसकी हर माया को समाप्त कर दिया और अंततः अपने त्रिशूल से उस अहंकारी असुर का अंत कर दिया।
Flowers rained from the heavens, and the deities bowed in adoration: 'Victory to Mahishasura Mardini—the Destroyer of Tyranny!' This victory reminds every child that when goodness unites against injustice, light will always conquer the darkest darkness.
आकाश से पुष्प वर्षा होने लगी और सभी देवता जयकार करने लगे: 'जय मां महिषासुर मर्दिनी!' यह पावन विजय सिखाती है कि जब सारी अच्छाई एक साथ खड़ी होती है, तो बड़े से बड़ा अन्याय भी सत्य के आगे टिक नहीं सकता।
