Mooshak: The Little Friend of a Big God

A long time ago, there was a giant and powerful demon named Gajamukhasura. He was very strong and loved to trouble everyone.

बहुत समय पहले, गजमुखासुर नाम का एक विशाल और शक्तिशाली असुर था। वह बहुत बलवान था और सभी को परेशान करना पसंद करता था।

Lord Ganesha went to fight him. During the battle, the demon turned himself into a tiny mouse to hide. But Ganesha was too smart! He quickly caught the mouse.

भगवान गणेश उससे लड़ने गए। युद्ध के दौरान, असुर ने छिपने के लिए खुद को एक छोटे चूहे में बदल लिया। लेकिन गणेश जी बहुत होशियार थे! उन्होंने झट से चूहे को पकड़ लिया।

The mouse realized he couldn't win and asked for forgiveness. Ganesha, being kind, said, 'I will spare you, but you must stay with me forever and be my vehicle!'

चूहे को एहसास हुआ कि वह जीत नहीं सकता और उसने माफी मांगी। गणेश जी ने दयालु होकर कहा, 'मैं तुम्हें छोड़ दूँगा, लेकिन तुम्हें हमेशा मेरे साथ रहना होगा और मेरा वाहन बनना होगा!'

But there was one problem. Ganesha was very heavy! The tiny mouse was scared. Ganesha smiled and used his magical powers to become as light as a feather whenever he sat on Mooshak.

लेकिन एक समस्या थी। गणेश जी बहुत भारी थे! छोटा चूहा डर गया। गणेश जी मुस्कुराए और अपनी जादुई शक्तियों का उपयोग किया ताकि जब भी वे मूषक पर बैठें, वे पंख की तरह हल्के हो जाएं।

The mouse represents our 'Desires' (इच्छाएं), which can sometimes be wild and jump around like a mouse. By riding the mouse, Ganesha teaches us to keep our desires under control with wisdom.

चूहा हमारी 'इच्छाओं' का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है, जो कभी-कभी जंगली हो सकती हैं और चूहे की तरह यहाँ-वहाँ कूद सकती हैं। चूहे की सवारी करके, गणेश जी हमें ज्ञान के साथ अपनी इच्छाओं को नियंत्रण में रखना सिखाते हैं।
