The Gift of the Dancing Peacocks

One sunny afternoon in Vrindavan, Lord Krishna sat under a shady tree and began to play a sweet melody on his flute. The music was so beautiful that even the trees started to sway.

वृंदावन में एक सुनहरी दोपहर को, भगवान कृष्ण एक छायादार पेड़ के नीचे बैठ गए और अपनी बांसुरी पर एक मधुर धुन बजाने लगे। संगीत इतना सुंदर था कि पेड़ भी झूमने लगे।

A flock of peacocks heard the music. They were so happy that they spread their colorful tails and began to dance in circles around Krishna. They felt like they were in heaven! When Krishna stopped playing, the King of the Peacocks bowed down.

मोरों के एक झुंड ने संगीत सुना। वे इतने खुश हुए कि उन्होंने अपनी रंगीन पूंछ फैला दी और कृष्ण के चारों ओर घेरे में नाचने लगे। उन्हें लगा जैसे वे स्वर्ग में हों! जब कृष्ण ने बजाना बंद कर दिया, तो मोरों के राजा ने झुककर प्रणाम किया।

'O Lord,' the peacock said, 'your music has made our hearts dance. We have no gold or jewels to give you. Please accept our most beautiful feathers as a token of our love.'

'हे प्रभु,' मोर ने कहा, 'आपके संगीत ने हमारे दिलों को नचा दिया है। हमारे पास आपको देने के लिए सोना या गहने नहीं हैं। कृपया हमारे प्यार के प्रतीक के रूप में हमारे सबसे सुंदर पंख स्वीकार करें।'

The peacocks dropped their most vibrant feathers at Krishna's feet. Krishna was so touched by their pure gratitude that he picked up one feather and tucked it into his crown. He promised, 'I will wear this feather forever to show the world how much I love you and your dance.'

मोरों ने कृष्ण के चरणों में अपने सबसे जीवंत पंख गिरा दिए। कृष्ण उनकी शुद्ध कृतज्ञता से इतने प्रभावित हुए कि उन्होंने एक पंख उठाया और उसे अपने मुकुट में लगा लिया। उन्होंने वादा किया, 'मैं दुनिया को यह दिखाने के लिए कि मैं आपसे और आपके नृत्य से कितना प्यार करता हूँ, इस पंख को हमेशा धारण करूँगा।'

From that day, the peacock feather became a symbol of Krishna's love for nature and the simple joy of his creatures.

उस दिन से, मोर का पंख प्रकृति के प्रति कृष्ण के प्रेम और उनके प्राणियों के सरल आनंद का प्रतीक बन गया।
