The Final Song of Vrindavan

Little Krishna's magical wooden flute (Bansuri) was his most prized possession. When he played it, the cows stopped grazing, the birds stopped flying, and all his friends in Vrindavan would come running to listen.

छोटे कृष्ण की जादुई लकड़ी की बांसुरी (बंसी) उनकी सबसे कीमती वस्तु थी। जब वे इसे बजाते थे, तो गायें चरना बंद कर देती थीं, पक्षी उड़ना बंद कर देते थे, और वृंदावन में उनके सभी दोस्त सुनने के लिए दौड़ पड़ते थे。

But the time came for Krishna to grow up. He had to leave the peaceful village of Vrindavan and go to the city of Mathura to fight the evil King Kansa and become a King himself.

लेकिन कृष्ण के बड़े होने का समय आ गया। उन्हें वृंदावन के शांतिपूर्ण गाँव को छोड़ना पड़ा और दुष्ट राजा कंस से लड़ने और खुद राजा बनने के लिए मथुरा शहर जाना पड़ा।

Everyone in Vrindavan was crying, especially his dearest friend, Radha. Krishna wiped her tears and made a promise. 'I am leaving my childhood behind to do my duty. And since my flute belongs to my childhood and to the love of Vrindavan, I will never play it again.'

वृंदावन में हर कोई रो रहा था, खासकर उनकी सबसे प्यारी दोस्त, राधा। कृष्ण ने उनके आँसू पोंछे और एक वादा किया। 'मैं अपना कर्तव्य निभाने के लिए अपना बचपन पीछे छोड़ रहा हूँ। और चूँकि मेरी बांसुरी मेरे बचपन और वृंदावन के प्यार की है, इसलिए मैं इसे फिर कभी नहीं बजाऊँगा।'

It is said that Krishna gave his flute to Radha and then broke it, proving that his sweet music was only for her and the pure villagers of Vrindavan. In his life as a King in Mathura and Dwarka, he held a powerful weapon (the Sudarshana Chakra) but never played the flute again.

कहा जाता है कि कृष्ण ने अपनी बांसुरी राधा को दे दी और फिर उसे तोड़ दिया, यह साबित करते हुए कि उनका मीठा संगीत केवल उनके और वृंदावन के शुद्ध ग्रामीणों के लिए था। मथुरा और द्वारका में एक राजा के रूप में अपने जीवन में, उन्होंने एक शक्तिशाली हथियार (सुदर्शन चक्र) धारण किया लेकिन फिर कभी बांसुरी नहीं बजाई।

This story teaches us that growing up means taking on bigger responsibilities (duty), even if it means leaving behind the fun things of our past.

यह कहानी हमें सिखाती है कि बड़े होने का मतलब बड़ी ज़िम्मेदारियाँ (कर्तव्य) निभाना है, भले ही इसका मतलब हमारे अतीत की मज़ेदार चीज़ों को पीछे छोड़ना हो।
